Two different towing methods were used. In 2011 we towed the ISIIS at 3 fixed depths (10, 25, and 35 m) to measure the horizontal patchiness of jellies and associated zooplankton, and we also performed tow-yos in the same area. In 2016, we deployed the ISIIS in tow-yo fashion during the day and night in shallower waters (~25 m deep). We also examined the association of larval/juvenile fishes with these large scyphomedusae, examining the oceanographic variables related to these associations. Sizes and angles of orientation for each medusa were also measured. For 2011 data, physical data acquired at 2 Hz. For 2016 data, physical data acquired at 6 Hz. Images acquired at ~16 Hz\n\ncdm_data_type = Trajectory\nVARIABLES:\ntrajectory (July2011ZooplanktonCounts)\ntime (seconds since 1970-01-01T00:00:00Z)\nlatitude (degrees_north)\nlongitude (degrees_east)\ndepth (m)\nsea_water_temperature (Temperature, degree_Celsius)\ndissolved_oxygen (ml l-1)\nchlorophyll_fluorescence (Chlorophyll_a Fluorescence raw, volts)\nirradiance (µEinstein cm-2)\nm3bin (horizontal distance in meters covered by 1 cubic meter of water sampled, m)\nchaeotgnaths (chaeotgnaths, arrow worms, individuals m3-1)\ncopepods (copepods, small crustaceans, individuals m3-1)\nctenophore (ctenophore, comb jellies, individuals m3-1)\ncumacean (cumacean, small marine crustaceans, individuals m3-1)\nfish (larval fish, individuals m3-1)\nhydromedusae (individuals m3-1)\nlobate_ctenophore (individuals m3-1)\nctenophore_with_tentacles (individuals m3-1)\n...
